A ‘suspicious device’ was discovered under a car in Dublin this afternoon.
Gardai and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal unit quickly arrived on the scene at St Aidan’s Park in Marino to investigate, according to DublinLive.ie.
A spokesperson for the Gardai said: “Gardai were alerted to an incident in St Aidans Park, Marino, Co Dublin this afternoon after a suspicious device was found underneath a car. The EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) were called and are currently at the scene.”
The surrounding area is now closed off to the public.
