A Teenage Girl Was Robbed At Knifepoint On The Luas

A 13-year-old girl was mugged at knifepoint in a shocking incident on the Green line Luas last week.

The Journal.ie reported that the girl was on her way home on the Luas after an outing in Dundrum with her friends when she was approached by a man and a woman who verbally abused her and threatened to stab her.

The woman pulled out a flick-knife on the young girl.

The girl's phone was taken by the duo and she is extremely shaken by the incident.

Gardai describe the attackers as a female in her 20s with long black hair and wearing a black skirt and black boots, and a male, also in his 20s, with short brown hair and wearing grey and navy tracksuit bottoms and runners.

Gardai are investigating the incident.
