A “Well Known Irish Sports Star” Assaulted A Kinehan Gang Associate In South Dublin Pub

Following on from several online statements last night that Conor McGregor had allegedly been involved in an altercation in his local pub, The Black Forge Inn in Crumlin, media reports of a “well known Irish sports star” punching a Kinehan gang associate have been published.

The Irish Independent reports that it’s understood that the “sports star”, whose identity is not yet confirmed by Gardai, attempted to punch a young man in the pub on Sunday night.

A man in his 50s who is reportedly associated with convicted drug dealer Graham ‘The Wig’ Whelan was punched twice in the face by the sports personality after attempting to break up the altercation.

Gardai are not investigating as of yet as no official complaint from anyone involved has been made, but they are aware of the incident.
