If you were dreaming of a white Christmas, dream on – looks like we’re in for a tempestuous one.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow warning for the whole country this festive season, with a stormy spell looking “likely” later this week.
While they have few details on the situation just yet, the meteorologists have said that the stormy weather will probably begin on Friday, with the north and west of Ireland being most at risk.
