Following last night’s extremely successful Bank of Ireland food series, and their Smartest Website / Platform win at the The Smarts yesterday evening – it seems that Bank of Ireland customers are experiencing some difficulties when attempting to use their cards to withdraw cash.
The Twitter account for the bank has been inundated with messages of people who’ve been kept on the Customer Care helpline for some amount of time.
@bankofireland what’s the delay with the banking 365 set up? ???? been waiting 20 minutes.

However, the bank has tweeted back just recently to announce that the issue has since been resolved.
So, for customers, once you haven’t exceeded your daily withdrawal limit for the day – you should now be able to use your card as you wish.
If you try an ATM now,as long as you haven’t reached your daily withdrawal limit the transaction should be successful. To 1/2
