Bernard Brogan has confirmed his retirement from Dublin GAA after a stellar 15-year inter-county Twitter.
Announcing the news on his social media channels, the seven-time All-Ireland winner thanked his Dublin managers Paul Caffrey, Pat Gilroy and Jim Gavin while also paying tribute to his parents and his brothers Alan and Paul.

Bernard went on to thank the Dublin supporters, who he says gave unwavering support and never gave up on him during his time wearing blue.
Brogan won his first All-Ireland title in 2011 before adding six more titles throughout a glittering career. The 35-year-old’s full statement can be read in the above tweet.
