A house in Rathfarnham is currently sealed off as part of the Wicklow Mountains murder investigation by Gardaí.

Scattered remains of a woman, who had been reported missing from her South Dublin home on June 2,  were found in the mountains on Saturday and the few days since.

The woman has been named as grandmother Patricia O'Connor.

According to 98FM , officers have been led to a house in Rathfarnham today, which is now sealed off for an examination.

Investigations are ongoing, enquiring as to whether the woman was murdered there and then her body removed.

A man in his 30s was arrested near Kilmuckridge in Wexford last night, and is continuing to be questioned at Bray garda station.

Gardaí believe that the suspect is related to the victim.
