All residents at Apollo House have now moved out of the building, following an order from the High Court yesterday.
The Home Sweet Home group had initially vowed to defy the order and stay in the Tara Street building until suitable accommodation was found for all homeless residents.
However, taxis arrived at Apollo House this morning to transfer those staying on site and a HSH volunteer confirmed to Lovin Dublin that residents were being moved to alternative accommodation.
It’s understood that this is a mix of hotels and private housing that is being paid for with the money raised by the Home Sweet Home movement.

The group had applied for a stay to remain at Apollo House but this was refused by Judge Paul Gilligan, who had previous allowed residents to remain in the building over the Christmas period.
Hundreds of people turned out for a candlelit vigil in support of the campaign last night, with supporter Glen Hansard performing outside Apollo House.
