The Red Line Luas is experiencing delays yet again, and commuters aren’t happy.
There have been recurrent problems with the Luas in recent weeks, including incorrect Real Time information and overcrowding.
This morning delays of up to ten minutes left passengers stranded and late for work.
My greatest accomplishment this morning is not getting sick on the woman who was squashed next to me on the luas with her dandruff filled, matted, crusty hair hitting me in the face. These are not conditions your customers should have to endure @luas
Send more frequent trams— Aisling (@aisling_24) February 12, 2018
Standing at heuston stop the last 15 minutes and there’s a huge crowd of people who can’t fit on the trams. Delays are too common these days and it’s not fair on paying customers to rely on it to get to work on time 🙁

@luas not enough teams for rush hour. The gap between trams too long. Each team is packed due to the shite service #Luas #Redline

There is also a technical issue with Luas Park and Rides today.
“Clamping is suspended at all Luas Park and Rides today the 12th of February 2018 due to a technical issue,” the Luas website reads.
“Red Line services will operate with delays of up to 10 minutes this morning.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
