A DCU student was arrrested on Wednesday in a drugs bust raid at his apartment on campus.
The Irish Sun report that eight gardai raided the property at Hampstead Student Accommodation on Thursday and arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of drug dealing and possession. They discovered almost €4,000 worth of narcotics, thought to be ketamine, cocaine, and MDMA.
It’s understood that the man is known to be the college dealer, and had been under police surveillance for a while before the raid.
A Garda spokesman told the Irish Sun: “The male was released on bail and the investigation is ongoing. The street value of the drugs seized was around €3,980.”
