Dublin Actor Tom Vaughan Lawlor May Be The New Avengers Villian

He gripped the country last year starring as protagonist Nidge in the gruesome Love/Hate, but is Tom Vaughan Lawlor set for Hollywood stardom with his next role?

Photos have appeared online of a man that looks strikingly similar to that of Mr Vaughan Lawlor filming a fight scene with none other than Benedict Cumberbatch for the new Avengers movie. 

Rumour mills have since been spinning out of control, due to speculation that the Dubliner may be set to be the film’s new villain.

The images, posted on Twitter by entertainment site JustJared, have appeared online showing Cumberbatch filming a somewhat aggressive fight scene with a man in a CGI suit who looks like the artist formerly known as Nidge. 

The website was, however, somewhat flummoxed by his identity: “It’s not immediately clear who the actor in the CGI suit is, but he had dots all over his face, likely to create his character’s look on screen.”

Avengers: Infinity War is slated for release on April 27, 2018.
