Dublin City Council Have Banned All Circuses Using Wild Animals

Yesterday Dublin City Council put a ban in place, which will prevent any events using wild animals from taking place on any public land in their jurisdiction.

Animal welfare activists and charities. including the Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, have been campaigning for this move for many years.

This is an amazing development, let’s hope the country in its entirety follows suit.
