This Dublin Hair Salon Is Offering Free Blow Dry Service On One Condition

Your health is the most important thing and this Dublin salon is rewarding those who are looking after themselves. 

Main Envy hair salon in Dublin is offering women a free blow dry if they get a smear test.

The owner of the place said that she wanted to promote free cervical checks and will be honouring the promotion for a year.

They took to Facebook to announce that they were doing this kind deed and the wonderful initiative has been praised all over the capital so far.

The post reads:

“Hi all, it’s Miriam here, Gillian’s mam. Last week Gillian very kindly offered a wonderful initiative trying to encourage women to avail of their free smear test by launching her ‘get a free blow dry with proof of your cervical smear appointment being made.’ 

I issued a press release, it was picked up by the media, and, as an after thought, sent that release along to the Irish Cancer Society’s Communications Officer. This morning, we received this response…proving that doing something good for your fellow human beings, in this case time poor Irish mammies/women who very often place themselves last, that being an empowerer of women, (as Gillian is), and taking the initiative by the balls is the right thing to do.

Please share and spread the word of this wonderful event, it happens on Friday, and thanks again to Prof Cara for taking time out of her busy, busy day to respond to me and Gillian and of course her wonderful staff at Mane Envy for their generous offer and initiative.”
