Dublin cyclists are now protesting in the form of human barricades in an effort to stop cars and vans from parking in the city's cycling lanes.
A demo by the Dublin group just recently led to huge drawbacks in the Dame Street area just yesterday.
According to 98FM , this was following a protest involving members of a new lobby group standing in the way of a delivery van driver, which led to preventing him from parking in a cycle lane on Andrew's Street.
The I BIKE Dublin crew will be back on the same spot next Tuesday at 4.30pm. All cycling supporters are welcome to join and stay in touch. pic.twitter.com/m5AnAQ3nBc

Heated exchanges between 15 people ensued for up to an hour and twenty minutes as the protest carried on.
This comes as the Road Safety Authority has released a new awareness video, encouraging drivers to leave a safe distance of one and a half metres when overtaking cyclists.
