It just fell short of cities like London and Zurich.

Dublin’s rent prices have climbed to the fourth-highest in Europe, according to the website Numbeo.

The cost-of-living website ranked 141 cities based on average rent prices, with London topping the list, just ahead of Zurich and Geneva, while Dublin placed fourth.

The capital ranked ahead of cities such as Amsterdam and Luxembourg.

In the third quarter of 2024, Daft.ie reported that average rent prices in Dublin ranged between €2,294 and €2,704, depending on location.

Furthermore, Galway also featured in the top ten for the continent’s highest rents, coming in at number eight ahead of Copenhagen and Paris.

Yikes.
