Eight-Year-Old In Serious Condition After Being Struck By A Van In Dublin

An eight-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision in Shankill.

The incident took place yesterday evening before 5pm when the child was struck by a van on the Shanganagh Road.

He was rushed to Temple Street Hospital, where he is said to be in a serious condition.

According to Dublin Live, gardai have interviewed the driver of the van and anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Shankill Garda Station on (01) 666 5900.
