Dublin Airport have confirmed that all flights to and from London City Airport have been cancelled on Monday after the discovery of a bomb from World War 2.
In a tweet on their website, Dublin Airport said:
“Flights from LondonCityAir to DublinAirport are cancelled due to an on going incident there. Passengers are advised to check with their airline for latest flight updates.”

In total, there are nine flights that were scheduled from the airport today that have been cancelled.
The Met Police said: “The ordnance was discovered as part of pre-planned work at London City Airport and reported to the police.
“Specialist officers and the Royal Navy have attended and confirmed the nature of the device.
“The operation to remove the ordnance is ongoing in partnership with our colleagues in the Royal Navy.”
