Storm In A Teacup Has Reopened Following Weekend Break-In

Storm In A Teacup has reopened in Skerries, days after it was targeted by vandals for a second time.

The tiny seaside café sustained serious damage on Sunday night when burglars trashed the premises and smashed several appliances.

Happily, the owners of the beloved store revealed this week that they have been “inundated” with offers of support since the incident and have now opened their doors for business again.

Gardai are investigating the break-in at the moment so fingers crossed that the people behind the cowardly burglary are found.

In the meantime, we’ll definitely be heading to Skerries for a treat this week!
