Diaego, the company behind Guinness, announced today that they are rolling out a plan to create an entire new neighbourhood in Dublin based on the site of their iconic factory.
St Jame’s Gate will be a 12.6 acre site that includes commercial, office and residential spaces. They also outlined plans for public spaces and streets within the plan and are seeking a developer to partner up with.

The plans are possible because Diageo say that with improvements in technology they can brew beer in less space which will allow them to downsize the brewery.
