Nobody should ever have to face an incident like this in a pub.
This Dublin pub had to close last night because staff felt “Threatened And Unsafe”.
In a statement on Twitter, 57 The Headline Bar said that:
“We have to close for the evening. An incident earlier has left us feeling threatened and unsafe.
“Our customer and Staff safety is our priority. Apologies for the inconvenience.”
The right call made there.

The bar confirmed that everybody were “all good” after the incident.
They later released a photo that showed that someone had tried to “break all their windows” last night.
Disgusting behaviour.
Thanks you everyone for your support and kind words. An attempt was made to break all our windows last night, we acted quickly enough, but sustained some damage. Everyone safe! pic.twitter.com/h3VgyfVYcj
