Dubliners are going to need very cool nerves and some luck over the coming hours to avoid flooding, as these pictures show the Liffey is staggeringly swollen and high tide isn’t due for another hour.
As we all know, people’s homes have been getting ravaged across the country in recent weeks after a series of storms.
Fingers crossed for anybody in affected areas.
