Investigation Launched After Dublin Dad Discovered Dead In Colombia

An investigation is underway after the body of an Irish man was discovered in the city of Caldas, Colombia.

The Irish Sun reports that Joe Moore from Ballyfermot in Dublin was found in a river, with police believing that he was lured out to the rural area where he was executed.

His body was found on the 2nd May, although it took one month before he could be identified through tattoos on his body.

Mr Moore has been living in Spain for the past few years and his family were unaware that he had been in Colombia.

Police are treating it as a gangland murder.
