Nope, nope, NOPE.

FM104 reached out to Rentokil, who are pest experts and they told them some frightening news about spiders that we’re not happy about.

There’s going to be more eight-legged friends in your house this week and here’s why.

“Spiders are more common in general at this time of year. As temperatures drop in autumn, spiders become more active, as they are looking for a mate. This is when they come out of their hiding places. Towards the end of autumn many spiders die off, but some hibernate until the following spring.”

They also said to look out for the false widow which is the only dangerous spider in Ireland.

“The false widow can cause problems to human health, but only if you have a reaction to its bite.”

In order to help not attract them to your house you should, limit food source (clear flies or insects, remove webs and fill any gaps in walls

But in order to be 100% sure that they will be kept away, you should really get this €3 purchase that will keep your house spider free forever.
