A new study has revealed that Dublin has the happiest workers in Europe, while Irish people are the fourth happiest in the world.
The Indeed Job Happiness Index 2016 looked at 35 countries for the following factors when ranking workplace happiness: work-life balance, quality of management, office culture, job security and advancement, and compensation, and benefits or pay.
The research also revealed what kind of jobs had the most content workers, and they included carpenters, builders, secretaries and childcare assistants.
According to the study, the most satisfied workers by nation are (from 10 to one): Venezuela, Spain, New Zealand, Chile, Norway, Brazil, Ireland, Russia, Mexico, and Colombia.
