Is This Dublin’s Most Overpriced, Ridiculous Drink?

Part of finding the best bits of Dublin is calling out the worst bits – that’s why we share some of the best rip-off drinks and foods in the city.

And today we have one that is quite possibly the overall winner. 

Marie Duffy was in the Black Door last night and sent us the receipt below on Facebook. 

We didn’t actually know that vodka and water was actually a drink, but the fact that it came in at a whopping €10.70 – the price you’d pay for a finely crafted cocktail in several places – is seriously hard to believe. 

I wouldn’t be checking my bank account this evening after finding a receipt like that…
