A Dublin woman who won €500,000 on a recent Lotto draw has vowed to walk the streets and help the city’s homeless today.
The anonymous winner collected her cheque from National Lottery HQ this afternoon after a victory in the Daily Millions draw.
According to Dublin Live, she has now dedicated her win to those who are homeless in Dublin and plans to use her winnings to help them improve their situation.
“As a proud Dublin woman, it breaks my heart to see so many ordinary decent people become homeless in our city.
“To celebrate my win, I will spend today visiting as many homeless people as I can to assist them financially. In the long term, I will commit to a plan to help as many as I can.”
