Major Traffic Delays Expected In North Dublin This Afternoon Due To Malahide Castle Concert

Sarah

Drivers are being warned to expect delays in traffic in the north Dublin region, particularly the Malahide area, due to Arcade Fire playing at Malahide Castle this evening.

AA Roadwatch have issued notices asking fans to use public transport if at all possible, while the Gardai have stated that traffic restrictions will be in place around the village, leading to knock-on delays.

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 1pm to 12 midnight, and people attending the concert are warned that backpacks and large bags will not be allowed, with only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm × 11.7/ 29.7cm) will be permitted into the event.

Take alternative routes in north Dublin if at all possible.
