Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have pledged $3 billion dollars over the next 10 years in a bid to wipe out all diseases.
Facebook founder Mark and pediatrician Priscilla hope that the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative can help cure all illnesses in the lifetime of their baby daughter Max, who was born last year.
Such an ambitious project would mean calling in some of your high-rolling friends, of course:
Mark and Priscilla also pledged to donate 99% of their Facebook stock, roughly $45 billion to “advance human potential and promote equality.”
