Iarnród Éireann has warned their customers to expect delays of up to 30 minutes on northside DART and commuter services today.
The disruption was caused by a mechanical fault on a maintenance train, which caused it to be stranded at Kilbarrack.
While the train has since been removed from the line, the knock-on effect will disrupt schedules for the rest of the day.
