Over 20 Planned Murders In Hutch-Kinahan Feud Foiled By Gardai In The Last Year

Another 20 lives could have been claimed by the Hutch-Kinahan feud over the past year if plans hadn’t been thwarted by gardai, it has been revealed.

In the aftermath of the shooting of Michael Keogh in the city this week, An Garda Siochána revealed that they had intervened in the planned murder of 20 other people – seizing firearms and arresting those who were on their way to carry out the hits.

The startling revelation comes as the city steels itself for further violence, with the Kinahan gang expected to retaliate swiftly following the shooting of one of their associates in a Dorset Street car park yesterday.

Speaking on Prime Time last night, Cllr Gary Gannon called on the Government to take action against the cycle of poverty in the North inner city, which is currently fueling the drug trade in these areas.
