The parents of Jastine Valdez have released a statement paying tribute to their daughter who died in tragic circumstances after being abducted in Enniskerry last weekend.
In the note released by the Consulate Of The Philippines, Mrs. Teresita Valdez and Mr. Danilo Valdez thanked the Philippine community in Ireland as well as the Irish people for their ‘support, compassion and sympathy during this tragic time.’ They also said that 24-year-old Jastine’s plans ‘were to settle in Ireland, buy a house here and make a new life.’

Jastine’s parents described her as a ‘fun-loving, wonderful and caring daughter and friend’ who ‘will always be in our hearts and the hearts of the people of Ireland.’
