People Are Pretty Annoyed By MyTaxi’s Latest Decision

If you were planning to head out on the town on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, you might want to catch the last bus or Luas home. 

Mytaxi has announced that it will not be taking prebookings on those nights because of high demand. 

The prebooking function will be disabled between 6pm on December 24 and 5am on December 26, and from 6pm on December 31 to 5am on January 1. 

“Instant hails will be available, although demand will be very high,” the company said in a statement. 

“Christmas is the busiest time of year for taxis. Like you, lots of drivers will be spending quality time with their loved ones.”

The restrictions will also apply to mytaxi business users.
