If you’re travelling on the M50 this afternoon, expect delays as a car is currently on fire on the busy route.
AA Roadwatch reports that the vehicle is positioned just after J14 Leopardstown northbound, with the left lane currently closed.

As you can see from these pics, smoke is very heavy in the area and motorists are being warned that it may affect visibility.
Emergency services are currently dealing with the situation.
