Housing activists occupying Summerhill house have been served notice to leave the property by the owners earlier today.
The notice said that they had until 11 am today to leave the house before owners started legal action with the high court.
The house was occupied by activists last week in an attempt to highlight the many properties left vacant during the current housing crisis.
The notice was signed by owners “PJ O’Donnell and Peter McLornan (as trustees) for the Pat O’Donnell & Co. Ltd Retirement company and Death Benefit Plan.”
The O’Donnells are sponsors of Clare GAA.

Back in May, a large number of tenants were evicted from the occupied property and five other properties on Summerhill Road owned by the same company.
Up to 20 tenants had been living in each property in cramped, bunk-bed accommodation.
An inspection by Dublin Fire Brigade caused concern over fire safety issues.
