PICS: Dublin Fire Brigade Battled These Two Massive Fires Yesterday

Alana Laverty

Dublin Fire Brigade worked their asses off yesterday to put out two separate blazes in Dublin.

They were called to a major fire at the abandoned Cuckoo’s Nest pub in Tallaght on Greenhills Road at about 10.15PM last night and a total of five fire brigades were involved in the battle which took over two hours to put out.

Luckily, no one was harmed in the blaze but Gardaí are launching an investigation into the incident.

A terrifying sight…

Earlier on in the day, at another abandoned pub in Churchtown, they battled a smaller fire which was brought under control by three fire brigade units at about 4PM.

An eventful day for Dublin’s heroes.
