A car exploded in a commercial unit on the Malahide Road last night, and required four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade to work through the night to put it out.
Two people escaped from the blaze uninjured, according to the organisation’s Twitter account, and the fire was contained to the front of the building after the first 999 call came in around 2.20am.
However, the adjoining buildings were smoke logged as a result of the incident.
