It’s an unwritten rule in 21st century Ireland that if you’re in Croke Park, you have to get a selfie.
Not many though would be brave enough to ask Pope Francis for a quick snap but one girl, Alison Nevin, at the Festival Of Families last night did just that.
After shaking the Pontiff’s hand, the girl pointed at her phone to indicate that she wanted the capture the moment and Pope duly obliged, leading to a roar from the crowd at GAA HQ.
