PIC: Very Powerful Street Art Appeared In Ranelagh Today

Powerful street art commenting on homelessness and the recent events at Frederick Street has appeared on a derelict house in Ranelagh today.

The creative geniuses from Subset have created this mural as part of the Grey Area Project.

The lower half of the building depicts the private security workers who wore balaclavas when they acted upon a high court order and evicted housing activists from a house on Frederick street last week.

The piece is called 'Alone Homeless'.

This isn't the first time Subset have managed to perfectly encapsulate social issues in their murals.

They were behind a number of repeal the Eighth murals before the Eighth Referendum earlier this year.

Another mural celebrating the growing support for Ladies GAA was recently completed on Curved Street.
