Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the scene of a dramatic crash involving a van and a bridge in Blanchardstown late last night.
The bridge, which measures eight feet, six inches, was too short to allow for the van to pass by, resulting in the incident.
Dublin Fire Brigade took to Twitter and said: “Our Blanchardstown fire engine (D Watch) & an ambulance have attended a van bridge strike on Blakestown Rd heading to Mulhuddart village.”
