Remember those kids who laughed at you for sitting in the corner reading Harry Potter books while they ran around the playground like eejits? No? Just us, then.
Well they won’t be laughing at us anymore if Abe Books’ price estimations of old Harry Potter books are accurate.
The online book marketplace has valued hardcover first editions of Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, the first in J.K. Rowling’s famous wizard series, at anywhere between £28,850 to £39,700. In Euro terms that’s should fetch you anywhere between €40,000 and €45,000.
Well, holy God. The site has a number of other price estimates on books in the series so we reckon it’s time to get up to the attic and dust off our collection.
Okay, okay, we still keep them on our bedside bookshelf. No judgin’ alright?
