With the Beast from the East in full swing this morning, a number of Dublin-based businesses have decided to remain closed for the day.
So just in case you were feeling brave enough to actually step outside the front door and head out, it might be worth checking which stores and businesses will even be open today.
Here are a few Dublin spots that will definitely be closed for the day.
IKEA Dublin in Ballymun and the IKEA Order and Collection Point in Carrickmines will be closed today, Wednesday 28 February 2018 due to adverse weather conditions.

As it stands all Lidl stores will be open, but we’ll be monitoring the situation throughout the day and keeping you updated through our social channels.

Lidl has since announced that they will be closing their stores in Leinster and Munster from 3pm Thursday 01 March until 1pm on Friday 02 March.
We have made the decision to close all stores in Leinster and Munster from 3pm Thursday March 1st until 1pm on Friday March 2nd. Upon reopening, we ask customers for patience with our store teams who will have just resumed normal operations.

Tesco has since issued an update stating that trading hours will be reduced over the coming days.

Today: stores in the red zone will close at 6pm.
Thurs: Stores in red zone (Munster & Leinster) will open from 9am-2pm.
Fri: Stores in red zone (Munster and Leinster) will open from 1pm.
An employee at the Guinness Storehouse told Lovin Dublin that the attraction is currently open (at the time of writing) but that they are monitoring the safety of the situation for their visitors and employees, and therefore they may close early.
Aldi is currently open as normal, but will update customers on their social media sites if there are any updates.
