Minister for Health, Simon Harris has taken to Twitter to express his disgust at posters that were put up in his constituency recently.
He said that he was very thankful to everyone that got in touch with him about the posters.
"I saw them on way to work. Have too much important work to do to give this time but want you to know it only makes me all the more determined to work #togetherforyes".
When asked by the press what he thought about the posters, Political correspondent for 3 News Ireland, Gavan Reilly said on Social Media that the Minister said that they were "really horrific images… really unethical and wrong… a low blow”.
Fionnuala Moran, Deputy Editor of Goss.ie and a native of Bray took these pictures and posted them on Twitter.
We have blurred out the images but Moran has not and stated on Twitter that although she was sorry for posting these graphic images, "this is what we’re fighting against. These illegal posters went up all over Bray last night, especially beside schools."
Wicklow Council has since removed the posters in Bray as they are breaking electioneering rules.
