Ahh, the Friday before a Bank Holiday weekend.

The calm before the storm, so to speak.

However, not everyone will be spending the weekend getting some well-earned sleep, nor availing of Dublin's nightlife or even grazing like cattle at some of the capital's finer establishments.

Nope, they'll be working. And working hard, at that.

Enter, One For Ireland HQ, Henry Street

Yes, these busy bees will be attempting to do something enormous this weekend.

But before we tell you what - let us give you little run down on One For Ireland itself...

One for Ireland is a nationwide fundraising movement that is targeting to raise huge amount of money for Youth Mental Health over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

One for Ireland will give the people of Ireland the chance to donate €1 (or however much they can) to charity from April 28 - May 1, 2017.

Basically, they want everyone in Ireland to donate €1 (or more, if they can) over one weekend, with all proceeds going to Youth Mental Health.

You can donate online right here, on your phone by texting ONE to 50300 or in one of the participating stores across the country, of which there are thousands.

Mental Health is now FINALLY being talked about in this country - and One For Ireland are there to help provide help, education and support for the facilities that are so vital to those suffering.

Currently one in five young people in Ireland are going through difficulty with their mental health. That's over 300,000 people! Also shocking suicide is the number one killer of young men in Ireland, before road deaths and cancer.

With your help will help to provide youth oriented care, support, facilities and campaigns. They can create a generation that is more compassionate and capable when it comes to mental health.

Everybody's doing it!

Thus far, the charity's gotten celebrities such as Shane Lowry, Rosanna Davison, Bressie, Bernard Brogan and the Irish team to get involved - with many more celebrity posts coming this weekend...

So, what are you waiting for?

The crew at Henry Street would be only delighted to have you aboard.

Donate right here.

You can do it!
