Our early morning sugar-craving prayers have been answered. Thanks to the incredible bunch at a Slice of cake in Stoneybatter.
Open from 8am on Friday mornings, the trendy café is giving the people what they want, French-style.
Along with their obvious dedication to the cause – they’ll also be whipping up a new French toast special each week, kicking off tomorrow with their home-made brioche and sourdough baked French toast, decorated with blueberries, toasted walnuts, High Bank Orchard apple syrup and Hick’s Traditional Pork Butchers bacon.
Slice is known as the deacon of decadence, the princess of pastry and the king of confectionary – with its old-school take on baking and modern-day ingredients and twists.
Because of this, we have superbly high hopes for future #frenchtoastfridays, and cannot wait to sample each and every delicious one. International relations have just got tastier.
