It’s going to be even more busy than usualĀ in the capital today.
The Defence Forces have released a statement on their website informing the public that a major exercise will take place in the Dublin area on Wednesday.
Starting fromĀ 12:30pm, the Defence Forces told people not to be alarmed byĀ the heavy presence of military vehicles and personnel involved in the action.
The exercise will involve over 500 Defence Forces personnel, including the elite Army Ranger Wing, exercising withĀ An Garda SĆochĆ”na.
In a statement, they said: “Members of the public can expect to see military vehicles, armoured vehicles, helicopters and armed personnel involved in the exercise.
“The Defence ForcesĀ hope to keep any disruption to a minimum; however, this exercise is necessary to ensure that the Defence Forces are fully prepared when called upon.”
