The Luas Will Not Run Tomorrow As More Strike Action Is Going Ahead

Luas users take note, as another day of strikes is confirmed to take place tomorrow.

Transdev announced this morning that the industrial action scheduled for Wednesday is still going ahead on both Red and Green lines.

Strikes are also expected to take place on Friday May 13, Friday May 20, Friday May 27, as well as a four-hour stoppage on Thursday May 27 from 3pm until 7pm.

The Luas’ operating company has warned their drivers that industrial action after April 29 would result in a 10% pay cut, but this move is being contested by SIPTU.

Commuters must also note that Luas tickets will not be valid on other forms of public transport.
