The Place In Dublin With The Most Parking Fines Has Been Revealed

So, new figures have been released showing where exactly in Dublin is the worst for getting parking fines. 

And it is… *drumroll* – Lucan that’s at the top spot!

According to Dublin Live, a grand total of 1,581 parking tickets were issued on the suburb’s Main Street in 2016.

The worst place in Dublin City Centre has been revealed as Mespil Road, along the canal. 

Figures collected by The Times calculated that 915 cars were clamped on the road between Baggot and Leeson Street in 2016 with the Sandyford Road in Dundrum, Main Street Rathfarnham and Main Street Monkstown were also hotspots for fines on the south side. 

Motorists in Swords suffered the most on the north side. 

And as for the lowest number? Fourth Avenue in the Cookstown Industrial Estate was the big winner here, with just 223 drivers fined on the route.
