With Black Friday comes great bargains, and Irish motorists were dying to get their hands on cheap petrol after Topaz announced yesterday that for a limited time today, they would be selling Miles petrol for just 99c a litre.
And although it was spread across 12 different petrol stations in Dublin at different times, the queues of cars lining up at the stations so far is mental.
At Topaz in Clonshaugh this morning the queues went as far back close to the M50.
The Gardaí are even reported to have gotten involved to try control the heavy traffic congestion.

Elsewhere, five Applegreen stations around Dublin announced they would be selling both petrol and diesel for 98c a litre for a period of two-hours that varies per station.
The offer for Black Friday will run until 4pm and these are the two stations still left on the list while stocks last:
Applegreen Mount Merrion – 2pm to 4pm
Lusk Roundtower – 2pm to 4pm
