There’s been some good news for commuters this morning as Aston Quay and Burgh Quay have reopened – four days ahead of schedule.
The closures were implemented last Friday evening, and were scheduled to remain closed for a week.
The buses and traffic were diverted to reflect the closures, which were to allow works on the new Luas line.
But this morning commuters were happy to note that they are once again open!

Bus routes have returned to normal as have traffic, and there is a noticeable lack of road works.
Happy days all round.
