Two status yellow weather warnings have been issued for Irish waters over the next couple of days.
According to Met Éireann, the two warnings include a Gale Warning and a Small Craft Warning. Both have been issued today and both concern coastal regions.

Gale WarningSouth to southeast winds will occasionally reach gale force 8 at times today on Irish coastal waters from Fair Head to Carnsore Point to Loop Head.

Small Craft WarningSouth to southeast winds will reach force 6 or 7 on Irish coasts from Loop Head to Erris Head to Fair Head.
They also noted that strong and gusty southerly winds, sometimes increasing to gale force winds, will be active along the coasts at times.

Accuweather, another meteorological site, has stated that there is a good chance of thunderstorms on Thursday.
Weather sites are notoriously changeable, however, you should be totally grand if you just go home and don’t leave your duvet. Not once.
